New Mexico Overland '10

The Land of Enchantment

Beyond the Rockies

I lived in southern New Mexico during my late teen years and to be honest, I didn't appreciate it much.  A few highlights were some trips I took into the mountains immediately east of Alamogordo.  Now that I'm older, and wiser, I've come to appreciate the mountains, desert and rivers of New Mexico.  So in 2010 I decided to see what I could see in Northern New Mexico.  At some point two guys named Brad were invited to join me and we had a good time traversing the Valle Vidal, passing through the Red River area, crossing the Rio Grande river and exploring the Carson National Forest and Chama River area.

I'll let the pictures take it from here...
